Once upon a time Shweta Kwaatra was pegged as Ekta Kapoor's lucky mascot. She played Esha in Sony's Kkusum and as Pallavi in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, the actor mesmerized the telly junta with her vampish charm. Who can forget her freeze frame evil act with flared nostrils, arched eyebrows, coupled with a wicked nasal laugh, as she around making life hell for Parvati bhabhi.

But later Shweta had a fallout with Ekta (on monetary issues as speculated or was it something else) and thus opted to bid adieu to the Balaji shows. Though for a long time there was a talk of Shweta coming back in Kahaani, but somehow she never did. In fact she totally stayed away from the saas bahu sagas on the small screen.

But now it seems it's patch up time for both the ladies! Our sources reveal that Shweta has been approached to play Mr. Bajaj's (Ronit Roy) new wife in Kasauti Zindagi Kay. For those uninitiated, Ronit's track has been missing in the post leap phase of the show, and news is that he will soon re-enter, bringing in a major twist in the tale.

When contacted, Shweta (who is busy with the Naach Baliye 2 rehearsals with hubby Manav Gohil) was a bit reluctant to divulge the details. But she disclosed, "Yes I have been approached for Kasauti…..and I am seriously considering the offer."

Shweta has recently made a statement in a newspaper that she is very much open to substantial roles and that her talent is being wasted sitting at home. This model turned actor has currently two shows on air - Current Bollywood on Sony Max and Sohni Mahiwal on DD1, and is looking forward to flaunt her dancing skills on NB 2.

Will Shweta reconcile with Balaji? If so, it will not only mark a good spell for her career but will also infuse a new life in the show!
