Siddharth Malhotra is an epitome of humbleness. There is no doubt that he is one of the most creative and established producers in the world of television. But he doesn’t have an iota of pride about it. His production house Cinevistaas has been churning out one awesome show after another for years now. Siddharth keeps really busy these days as he is all set to launch three new shows on Colors, Star Plus and Life OK. But when we called him to come to our office and become a guest editor, he said, “I would love to.”
The moment he entered the den of Tellychakkar.com, he gelled wonderfully with the team and started behaving like a true journalist.
“Let’s do a nice and spicy story. Logon ko mazza aana chahiye,” he burst out laughing.
He went ahead and interviewed the star cast of his show Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (Star Plus).
“It was fun. I enjoyed it,” were his words after finishing the article.
Furthermore, he shared that he is a person who likes creativity and doesn’t like to compromise for the sake of TRPs.
“The idea of TRPs is pretty unfair. Few houses, where TRP meters are placed,
cannot determine the fate of a show. It’s simply not done,” he shared.
He also went on to state that in spite of working in a framework wherein it’s difficult to innovate beyond a scale or limit, he is coming up with shows that cater to his interest.
“I am doing a comedy, a love story and a musical. So, I am happy,” he smiled.
Finally, while waving goodbye, he said these words to team Tellychakkar, “Keep smiling, keep rocking and keep spreading the warmth always.”
