Standup comedian Navin Prabhakar's expression Pehchan Kaun on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge became a nationwide rage. Now to cash in on the same, the funnyman has recently launched his first music album titled…. Pehchan Kaun.
"I'm very fond of singing as it's my passion and comedy makes me earn a lot of money. Singing has always fascinated me and it feels good to sing after such a long time. This album is very close to my heart as it encloses bits-n-pieces of my life. We had some 20 songs, out of which I had zeroed on five entertaining and foot-tapping numbers," utters Navin.
What took Navin so long to come up with the album? "I was busy doing laughter challenge and live shows abroad. However, currently I'm not doing any show so thought of coming up with this new album," explain Prabrakhar.
Which is your favorite song from the album? "All the songs are very dear to me but I love the title track."
Any Bollywood plans? "I'm playing the male lead in four films. Acting is in my blood and for an actor playing any character should not be a problem," adds Navin.
Let's hope Navin manages to create a new pehchan this time.
