Gorgeous and talented Sukirti Kandpal climbed up on the popularity chart with her role Dr Riddhima Gupta in Star One’s Dill Mill Gayye. Now, she is absolutely adored by millions as Pia in Star One’s popular series Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani. Sukirti celebrated her 24th birthday on 20 November 2011 and she had a gala time with her close friends and loved ones. “I partied at Geoffrey’s-Marine Plaza, Mumbai with friends on 19th night. I danced, ate nice food and had a lot of fun. On 20th morning, I watched Tintin and later shopped a lot using my friends’ credit cards,” smiles Sukirti. So, did friends from the TV industry join her in the party? ‘Yes, there were many but I can’t name them. If I take names, then others might get offended. I hope you understand,” says Sukirti. Fair enough. For information, Sukirti was born in Nainital, Uttarakhand in 1987 to Mr & Mrs B D Kandpal. Currently, she stays with her mother in Mumbai. “I am glad that I had everyone around me during my birthday. I got lot of gifts. I got two one piece dresses and a huge one kg chocolate box, among others. Furthermore, everyone brought cakes for me. I had too many cakes to cut. It was fun,” says an elated Sukirti. When asked her on her most memorable birthday, the actress said that every birthday is special to her. And she gave a rather mysterious answer when asked about the person who she wished had been there during her birthday celebrations. “I don’t have to say. He knows that he should have been there. Don’t ask me to divulge any further,” giggles Sukirti. Hmm… this is something fishy. Who is the lucky man in Sukirti’s life? Well, we shall find out. But till then, here are Sukirti’s ultimate three wishes on her birthday. Her fans, please take note of it. “Firstly, I want my sister, Bhavna to get well completely. She met with an accident in 2008 and now she has recovered from all physical injuries, but she is yet to regain her lost memory. Secondly, I want to buy a house in Spain. And my last wish would be that my permanent life partner should permanently stay with me forever.” Sukirti, we hope and wish that your sister recovers fast and becomes hale and hearty again.
