Balaji’s latest offering on Star Plus titled Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna has been in news for its regular replacements of actors. First it was Harshad Chopra who was to play the lead in the show and then the new entrant who was again replaced by Kunal Verma, the current lead of the show. Now the latest actor who has been at the receiving end is veteran actor Uday Tikekar who essays the role of Balwant.
Tikekar explains, “Yes I have been informed by the Creative Head Suraj Rao that my face looks harsh for the role and thus they are replacing me. I think when you talk about a daily such developments are never-ending and one takes such decisions keeping in mind the best interests of the show. With this I want to clear that I hold no grudges against anyone as I am aware that such changes are inevitable at times. Infact, my relationship goes way back with Suraj Rao and I understand this change.”
“I think I had given my 200 percent to the role and the show and I am already getting acknowledged for my hard work. My friends, fans and Ekta Kapoor herself has complimented my work. I feel as an opening batsman I have done the best I could and I am looking to working with them in future,” he concluded.
Surprisingly Suraj Rao rubbished it as rumour and said, “It is not true.”
Though Suraj refutes the news our source has tipped that it will be veteran actor Sudhir Pandey who will replace Uday Tikekar in the show. We tried contacting Sudhir Pandey but he remained unavailable.
