He is called the casanova of the small screen. After scaling enviable heights as an actor, Rohit Roy is all set to don a producer's hat with his banner Magic Works. With wife Mansi to support the new venture, the duo is ready to script some more success stories.

Adds an excited Rohit,"I think it's a natural stage in an artist's career to be doing things which have newer demands. Your craving for creative work never ceases. Turning producer would surely give me more opportunities to explore things which I always felt strongly about."

So, what kind of themes would he explore as a producer? "Well, I am not limiting my options to a particular genre. At the moment, what I am seriously contemplating is a chat show. Not a serious kind that we normally get to see on the small screen. We have put forth the proposals to various channels and would finalize the deal sometime soon."

The next obvious question we ask is about big brother Ronit being part of the new venture and the actor says, "At the moment, Ronit is not part of the project. It's an idea which Mansi and me have thought about. But, in the future we would surely like to benefit from his experience and like him to be an integral part of our venture."

Currently, Rohit plays an intensely romantic character Rahul Lamba in Ravi Chopra's Viraasat and is paired opposite sexy Sangeeta Ghosh. When asked about his chemistry with co-actor Sangeeta Ghosh, the actor admits that she is not only a co-actor but more of a buddy.

And what about the recent hot scenes with the actor which had managed to create quite a around ? "I won't call them hot scenes. Romantic would be my chosen label. Well, it was a great experience and Sangeeta is a thorough professional."

Rohit Roy has always lived upto his reputation of reinventing himself. Now, with a fresh role of his career on the block, we hope his producer's innings would not be less exciting than his actor's one.
