Working with Rajan Shahi is like cherry on the cake: Ashita Dhawan Gulabani

Ashita Dhawan Gulabani
The beautiful and talented Ashita Dhawan Gulabani, who rose to fame playing the role of the vamp Malti Bhabhi in Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai, is back to the small screen with Zee TV’s upcoming show Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya produced by Director's Kut. The lady who gets back exactly after one year of giving birth to twins says, “Well, it feels great to be in action after a gap of two years. As a principle, I didn’t want to get to work directly after my delivery and on the contrary wanted to spend time with two of my cute angels. And in this period, I went on a weight losing spree to get back to shape.” On choosing the show of Producer Rajan Shahi to be her comeback vehicle, she avers, “Firstly, working with Rajan ji is like cherry on the cake. He is like a family and moreover he is directing the show himself; so there is so much of energy and positivity on the sets. And knowing that I am the mother of two kids, he understands my case well and doesn’t pressurize me. So I am glad to be back with this Rajan Shahi show and I am sure people will like me in my new avatar.” On her character in the show, Ashita explains, “The show is a romantic love story in which I am playing the buwa (father’s sister) of the female lead. After playing a negative role of Malti in …Bidaai, I wanted to break my image and wanted to play a positive role. And when Rajan Sir approached me for this particular role that of a very bubbly, loving and endearing character, I didn’t wait for a minute and took it up. And for your information, I am very much like the character I play and can relate to it a lot.” Well Ashita, we wish you all the best for your new role.
