MUMBAI: The episode sees how Kartik receives a special gift from Naira. Later, some guests make awkward comments about them while Kairav is shocked by a magician's thrilling performance. Kartik liked the gift that Naira had bought for Kartik. Pallavi spots them together and feels that Naira was taking undue advantage of Vedika’s absence. Here, Vansh tells Manish that Kairav wasn’t interested to cut the cake with Kartik but Mansih laughs off and does not understand what Vansh was trying to tell him. Naira feels elated but decided to keep her emotions in check. Lost in her thoughts, Naira notices that Surekha was behaving weird. She questions her about the same. Surekha gets shocked and blabbered about a lot of unimportant things. 

Before Naira could understand Surekha, Kartik calls for Naira and tells her that it was time for the cake cutting. Manish makes an announcement and tells Kairav and Kartik to cut the cake. Seeing Kairav dull, Kartik asks Manish whether or not Kairav was hiding something which he was upset about. Manish assured Kartik that since Kairav wasn’t well, it was obvious that he would not be his original self. Kartik proceeds with the cake cutting and seeing the cake, Kartik gets emotional. He tells everyone about the time when he had met Kairav for the first time and describes the situations which prevailed then. Naira tells Kairav to thank Kartik for his efforts but Kairav bursts out in anger. 

Kairav spoils the cake and lashes out at Kartik. He yells and tells Naira how upset he was with Kartik, as he always scolded her. He also tells her that he knew she used to cry for him, because he did not visit them in Goa. Kairav tells Naira that he feels as if Kartik doesn’t like them and that is why he keeps on scolding her every now and then. Naira tried to explain Kairav but he breaks free and runs out. Naira, Kartik and the rest chase him but he runs out on the roads. Fearing him getting hit by the car, Naira and Kartik tried to stop Kairav but he was on loose and continued to run. Kairav gets hit by an oncoming truck and KaiRa gets stunned to see him hit.
