MUMBAI: The episode starts with the Goenkas looking forward to the event that they believe will honour their son Kartik for his achievements, but they get shocked after hearing Naira's name as the winner of the award. Kartik, who until then believed he would have to get on to the stage to receive the trophy, looks stunned after hearing his wife's name.

Naira looks around in disbelief as she never expected this to happen. Naira gets surrounded by the media asking her about her achievements. A big poster featuring Naira gets unveiled, and everyone is left speechless. The host asks Naira to join him on stage and give her acceptance speech. Naira stands still not knowing what to do, while Kartik looks lost.

Within minutes, Kartik controls his emotions to applaud Naira for her achievements and asks her to accept the honour. Naira reluctantly goes towards the stage and asks Mihir why her husband wasn't honoured. Mihir explains why he wanted her to feature on the cover of the magazine because she deserves all the credit. In short, he wanted her to promote his brand.

Before giving her acceptance speech, Naira asks Kartik to join her on stage and credits him for her success. She says she wouldn't have been able to achieve anything had her husband not encouraged and motivated her. The Goenkas except Dadi applauds Naira for her gesture. Dadi looks visibly miffed with Naira. She feels her fears have manifested into reality because she never wanted Naira's professional life to have a negative effect on her marriage.

After Naira accepts the trophy, Kartik is asked to take his seat in the audience. Kartik feels humiliated, but he tries to take control of his emotions. Kartik pretends to be happy, but he is hurt. He feels disillusioned by the latest development that has made him feel inferior.
