MUMBAI: The episode sees how the police take Kartik into the police station and the journalists surround him to question him about Vedika. Manish gets agitated when he sees the press and asks where the lawyer is. Later, Kartik gets investigated and he tells the inspector that Vedika had called him last night and asked him to meet her at a hotel. She had left a note saying that she’s going to her aunts house which is why they didn’t ask her any details about where she is going. The inspector doesn’t buy Kartik’s story and keeps asking him the same question until they find a clue about Vedika. The lady inspector who was searching the house with her team finds Vedika’s passport in her wardrobe. She asks the family that if Vedika told them that she’s going abroad why didn’t she take her passport along. The family women tell the inspector that they never checked Vedika’s wardrobe to realise that she had left her passport behind. Later the inspector finds Vedika’s personal diary and reads out some things that she had written. Vedika had written about how even after marrying Kartik she didn’t feel like she had been accepted as a wife because of Naira. The family defends Naira and says that their family was going through a tough time but they cannot accuse Naira for Vedika’s disappearance.

Vansh and Kairav decide to go to Naira’s room but a staff member stops them and says that Naira is helping the police so they should go to their room and play instead of disturbing her. Later, as Naira goes to visit Kartik in jail, Manish stops her before she gets down from her car. He tells her that the media will exaggerate the situation if she goes in front of them. He suggests her to go back home. Later, he asks Kartik to sign the bail papers. Kartik asks him if Naira paid a visit and Manish tells him that he sent her back because of the media. When Naira returns home, his brother tells her that Kairav is not well. Naira goes to see Kairav and he tells her that he’s feeling dizzy. He asks her where Kartik is and refuses to see a doctor until Kartik comes back. Kartik feels uneasy in the jail and feels like Kairav is not well. He asks the inspector if he can make a call but the inspector asks him to sit quietly.Naira takes Kairav to the hospital and they inform her that only Dr. Pallavi is available. Pallavi was in her cabin with the police still carrying out investigation about Vedika. Naira rushes to her and asks her to treat Kairav and forget what is happening between them. Pallavi examines Kairav and treats him. She tells Naira that she would never let their differences get in the way of her duties. Akhilesh informs Kartik that Kairav was unwell but he’s fine now. Naira tells Vedika that there is something in that audio that they’re not able to understand right now but she will find out soon.

Later, Manish goes home and informs sadly that they couldn’t bail out Kartik. Naira gets determined to prove Kartik’s innocence. She goes to the same hotel with Akhilesh and her brother, and demands the manager to show her the CCTV footage.  Meanwhile, food arrives for Kartik in jail and the other inmates get jealous of him. Kartik gives the food to them and they bless him to get his matter sorted out as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the technical team and the manager tell Naira that the camera on the floor where Vedika had booked her room was broken. Naira suspects that someone must’ve tampered with the camera but the manager tells her that only Vedika had booked her room on that floor and there was no one else there. The see the footage of Kartik meeting Naira in the lobby and Naira’s brother tells her that Pallavi can use this against them. But they also realise that if something would’ve happened between Kartik and Vedika he would show some signs of struggles like scars or injuries. Naira notices a bellboy taking a big carton outside while they were busy talking. She zooms into the footage and sees a tattoo on the man’s hand. They see the man load the carton onto the tempo and leave. Akhilesh asks the manager to give him the details of their staff n that day but Naira tells him that she has obtained whatever proof was needed.
