MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the longest running Indian television soap opera. The story of Naira and Kartik has been entertaining audience. The show currently stars Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan in lead roles.

The ongoing track is unfolding a lot of twists and turns. Now here’s an update for the loyal viewers of the show. Naira overhears Vedika and Umesh Gupta's conversation and realises that there is more to Vedika's ugly game than meets the eye. The episode sees how Vedika asks Kartik to choose one of two dresses that she is holding in her hands.

Kartik unwillingly tells her to wear whatever she likes, because he will love whatever she selects. Kartik's subtle but positive reaction makes Vedika beam with joy, but she tells him that she has asked Dadi not to invite Naira for the Christmas bash.

Kartik feels bad for not being able to meet or talk to Naira. However, he keeps mum only because of his belief that Vedika has obliged him by saving Naira’s life.

Later, Kairav visits Goenka Villa to celebrate Christmas with Vansh and his friends. And it is only after seeing his son that Kartik's face lights up. Kartik thanks Vedika for making the arrangements for the bash and she tries her best to impress him. She grins from ear to ear, hoping that Kartik will soon forget Naira and embrace her in his life. She also thinks that the Goenkas also will eventually accept her as family.
