MUMBAI: The newest entry in Rajan Shahi’s popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is actress Harsha Khandeparkar who is playing Keerti Naksh Singhania. Earlier it was being played by Mohena Kumari. Speaking about her first day on the set, Harsha says,”I was nervous. But the moment I entered the set I was welcomed by the entire team. They are all very warm and I am blessed to be a part of this show. Mohsin and Shivangi are very warm. In fact, Mohsin welcomed me with delicious mutton kababs. This will be the first time I am working with the great maker Rajan Shahi. If we look at all the characters in his shows, each one is very nicely written. No one is left alone and that’s something great for an actor. I feel YRKKH will be a landmark in my career.”

Are you ready to face comparisons with Mohena who used to play Keerti? “This is the first replacement role in my career and I know comparisons will happen. Mohena has played the character brilliantly and I will have my own process,l own approach towards Keerti. I am sure the audience will like it.” Speaking about his costar Shehzad Shaikh, who plays his on-screen husband, Harsha says,” He has been so sweet. He gives me the comfort factor on set.”Interestingly Shehzad has also replaced Rishi Dev in the show. Talking about her career Harsha says,” It’s been a good ride for me. In between I have also completed my graduation in Zoology because being educated is an important aspect.”
