MUMBAI: Among the most versatile actors of her day is Rani Mukerji. She has received lots of praise for her acting abilities in several films, including Mardaani, Hichki, Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Her charming appearance also never fails to capture attention. On March 21, 2024, the actress turned a year older. It was then that we discovered an odd incident from her birth.

In a candid conversation with Simi Garewal on her renowned talk show, Rendevouz with Simi Garewal, Rani Mukerji revealed that right after her birth, she was exchanged in the hospital. The actress also mentioned that it was only after her mother, Krishna Mukherjee's vigilant discovery that she could possibly return to her birth parents. Elaborating on the incident, Rani revealed that soon after the birth of the actress, she was taken for a dress change, reportedly by the nurses present over there.

However, the child that the nurse brought back to Krishna was not Rani, and this caused the devoted mother great anxiety. Rani then revealed what Krishna had remarked soon after looking at the infant which was born to her.

Krishna had stated, "Oh my god! This is not my baby. My daughter has brown eyes. Go and search for my child." Then, with a remarkable twist of fate, Krishna found her daughter was inadvertently switched with another newborn belonging to a Punjabi family.

It was only after doing a comprehensive search of the entire hospital that Rani's mother was able to locate her newborn. When her daughter was eventually located, according to the actress, Krishna had knocked on every room in the hospital and eventually uncovered the confusion. Rani's mother and she were reconnected in fact by a bizarre revelation. There is also a persistent Punjabi cultural effect in her family because of the vivid experience.

At present, Rani is happily wed to Aditya Chopra, the owner of YRF, and the two of them have a stunning daughter named Adira. Rani has frequently shared numerous unrecognized anecdotes regarding her experience becoming a mother and her daughter. She has continued to choose not to have her child captured, a decision that is assiduously followed by paparazzi around the country. Consequently, it is difficult to find many photos of Adira online.
