MUMBAI: We all know that Bollywood superstars charge a huge fee for doing any films. There are also a few celebrities like Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan who take some percentages from the profit which the film makes at the Box Office. Well, there are also a few mega stars that have not charged any fee and have worked for free in blockbuster films. Check out as we bring you a few of the stars who waved off their salary for the film.

Shah Rukh Khan  

It is assumed that Shah Rukh Khan charges an enormous fee for the movie he does. But there are also many films for which he has not charged any fees. He appeared in cameo roles in the Amitabh Bachchan starrer film Bhootnath Returns and Dulha Mil Gaya. He also made an appearance in Krazzy 4 without charging any money for it.

Kareena Kapoor  

Kareena Kapoor appeared in the special item number song Fevicol Se in Salman Khan starrer film Dabangg 2. The song went on to become a chartbuster song when it was released. As per the reports Kareena Kapoor didn’t charge a single penny for the song and featured in the song only because of her great friendship with Salman.

Farhan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor

Farhan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor featured in the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Farhan took all the efforts and pain to bring the character of Milkha Singh to the big screen. Farhan along with Sonam Kapoor charged only Rs 11 as a token amount for appearing in the film.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone made her acting debut with Om Shanti Om with Shah Rukh Khan. It is said the actress didn’t charge any money for her acting debut film in Bollywood.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Nawazuddin Siddiqui who is inspired by seeing great scripts and definitely not money has also done a movie for free. He didn’t charge any fee for the director Nandita Das’ film Manto.

Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif appeared in the song Chikni Chameli from the film Agneepath. The song also featured Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt. It is said that the actress did the song for free.
