MUMBAI: Bigg Boss is one of the most controversial shows on television.

It is not only because of the contestants who create controversies but also with the way host Salman Khan deals and schools them. He does it in a way only he can do it and his spark is magical! But many a times, Salman's scoldings have backfired and received heavy criticism for his views and opinions on several issues. From facing backlash over Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Abhijit Bichukale's kiss controversy to calling Umar Riaz as a violent doctor, we look at the 5 times when Salman got brutally trolled for schooling the Bigg Boss 15 contestants.

Salman was not happy with Abhijit and the way he asked for a kiss from Devoleena. He said, You cannot show disrespect towards women. However, he also blamed Devoleena for Abhijit's behaviour towards her and gave her a piece of advice saying she should voice the issue then and there. In anoher incident, Salman had recently scolded Umar Riaz for his aggressive behaviour inside the Bigg Boss 15 house. He then went on to compare him to his brother Asim Riaz.

Salman had also questioned Karan and Tejasswi's relationship and went on to say that it won't even last for a month outside the Bigg Boss 15 house.

Netizens had expressed their anger and disappointment over Salman not addressing Simba for being violent with Umar and pushing him into the swimming pool in a fit of anger. Salman was brutally bashed by the netizens for abusing Pratik Sehajpal for breaking the washroom locks while Vidhi Pandya was still taking a shower. Fans were shocked to see Salman hurling abuses on national television.
