Sahara One’s Neem Neem Shahad Shahad revolves around the life of two sisters, namely Sonali (Amrapali Gupta) and Nirali (Khyati Mangla). Sonali always wanted to get married in a joint family, whereas Nirali was in favour of staying away from parents after marriage. Now in the show, Nirali recently shot a sequence wherein she runs away with her husband to Mumbai. The sequence will be aired sometime this week. Well, here’s the twist. Nirali believes that with this sequence her journey has come to an end in the show. “I have been told by the production house (Creative Eye) that soon they will introduce a track revolving around me and my husband settled in Mumbai. But I doubt it,” divulges Nirali. Fair enough. So did you have any inkling that you might be eased out? “No. I was not told anything officially but I had heard talks about the same on the sets. ” Khyati – who was seen in Baat Hamari Pakki Hai – further goes on to say, “My character began well but later the emphasis shifted to others.” Post Neem Neem, Khyati wants to take up lead roles which are fresh, challenging and will not involve mere rona dhonas. She also wants to be a part of a channel with has a larger viewership than Sahara. “I agree Neem Neem got me certain amount of recognition but not what I had wished for,” says Khyati. To get the other side of the story, we also talked to Sandhya Riaz, head of ideation, Creative Eye, and she went on to say, “We plan to replace Khyati with Danica Moadi (Navya, Hum Ladkiyan) once the track returns to Nirali and her husband in Mumbai. The channel wanted to upgrade the show and hence wanted a more known name.” However, she rejected that Khyati was shown the door for her bad performance. “Our decision was not based on her performance but as per the channel’s policies of sprucing up existing content and launching new shows.” Whoa, this is a news that is full of neem and without a drop of shahad!!!!
