MUMBAI: The year 2020 saw a lot of amazing TV shows being launched on the small screen. While some worked wonders, some could not strike a chord with the audience and went off-air even before the year could end.

Well, the makers definitely tried to spice up their shows by adding new angles and introducing new characters.  

A lot of popular TV shows saw many well-known faces playing a special or extended cameo. This definitely helped to spice up the story and keep the viewers hooked to the show.

So, here's a list of TV actors who made special appearances in shows:

1. Vatsal Seth

He is a popular face in the TV world as well as Bollywood. Vatsal played a special cameo in Star Plus' show Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke. The grey-shade avatar of Vatsal managed to win the hearts of the viewers.

2. Ruslaan Mumtaz

Ruslaan's entry in Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke further spiced up the drama as he was there to create problems for the Rajvansh family. The actor's special appearance proved to be a huge hit.

3. Karan Mehra

The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame played a smashing cameo on the show Shubharambh where he played businessman Bharat Hasija. The viewers were delighted to see him on-screen after a long time.

4. Nisha Rawal

Karan Mehra's wife Nisha was away from the small screens for many years. The actress did a special cameo in Star Plus' Shaadi Mubarak where she played a negative role. Nisha's character was well-appreciated by the fans.

5. Shagun Pandey

Shagun played the role of Dr Mihir Doshi in Colors' Shubharambh. The actor played Mahima Makwana's love interest and his entry brought many interesting twists and turns in the story.

6. Dheeraj Dhoopar

The actor entered Naagin 5 as Cheel Aakesh/Shakura. Dheeraj was seen in a negative avatar and fans showered the actor with love and praise for his special cameo.

7. Hina Khan

The TV's hottest diva Hina was seen in a special cameo as Naageshwari in Naagin 5. Hina managed to pull off the role like a pro.

8. Mohit Malhotra

Mohit was seen playing a special cameo of Naag Hriday in Naagin 5 and was paired opposite Hina on the show.

9. Madhurima Tuli

The actress was seen doing a special appearance as Neha, a secret agent in Colors' show Ishq Mein Marjawan 2.

10. Sayantani Ghosh

The popular TV actress played the role of Rasiya Bai in Barrister Babu. Sayantani's performance was lauded by the viewers.
