MUMBAI: Actress Shivjyoti in this exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, talks about her recently released web series Special Ops 1.5, the actors with whom she would like to work in future, Director with whom she would love to work and more…

What kind of responses are you getting for your character in Special Ops 1.5?

Shivjyoti said she had been getting a lot of love from the audience. She thinks it was a small piece of work which had a larger impact on the people. The audience could relate to her character and have sympathy with her.

How was your experience of working with Kay Kay Menon and Aftab Shivdasani?

It was a wonderful experience of working with Kay Kay Menon and Aftab Shivdasani. She further said, she feels lucky, as she could showcase her talent in front of them. A lot of actors want to work with them in life but she is the lucky one to work with them, so early in her career.

Your Insta, says born for the Oscar. So as an actor what attracts you the most, the awards or rewards?

I think I am totally into rewards and awards because awards like Oscar will give recognition not only in our own country but also across the globe. Every actor wants their nation to be proud of them. As an actor I too would like to have that recognition for my nation and I would like to have the Oscar with my name written on it.   

Who are your inspirations?

Shivjyoti  said she admires Amitabh Bachchan’s works the most. She likes Irrfan Khan too, as there can never be another actor like him in the industry again. Madhuri Dixit, she always admired her dancing skills, acting skills and her expressions are one of the iconic things. These are the actors whom she looks up too.

If given the chance, with whom you would like to work in future?

My dream is to work with Amitabh Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit. He is so phenomenal that I will end up learning something new from him.

Who is your favourite Director from Bollywood?

Shivjyoti said she would like to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Working with him would be like on the floor training for her.
