MUMBAI: Genelia Deshmukh made her acting comeback last year with two movies, Mister Mummy and Ved. While the former failed to make a mark at the box office, the latter, which was a Marathi film, became a super hit.
Now, the actress is all set for her next project titled Trial Period which is all set to premiere on Jio Cinema. The trailer of the film has been released, and it is quite funny.

It looks like the movie revolves around a single mother who hires a man to be a father to her son, but just for a trial period. The basic concept of trial period is something new and refreshing. In the trailer, there are some moments that will make you laugh out loud; especially the scenes featuring the child actor Zidane Braz are hilarious.
Apart from Zidane, Manav Kaul and Gajraj Rao also grab our attention. However, Genelia gets minimal scope in the trailer, but she does leave a mark.
The movie is directed by Aleya Sen who had earlier helmed Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem starrer Dil Juunglee. While the trailer is good, it will be interesting to see how the film turns out to be.
Trial Period will premiere on Jio Cinema on 21st July 2023.
