MUMBAI: Karan Johar is known to have launched the careers of many new commers. First it was Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in Student of the Year then it was Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday in its 2nd instalment. Now the filmmaker is gearing up for the third instalment.

While the first two were full-fledged commercial films on the big screens, the third will be an OTT series. The series will be headlined by none other than another newcomer; Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor.

SOTY 3 will be helmed by Reema Maya and will premiere on Disney + Hotstar soon. Looks like it will be another star in the making!
