MUMBAI: Ever since Baahubali was made, the nation went gaga over the characters and the storyline of the film.

After hearing laurels from the Telugu film industry, the film was released in different languages and it received a lot of appreciation and admiration even in Bollywood. It is the first film in India to pocket Rs 100 crore in two days. Never had a film made it to the Rs 100-crore club in this short a span.

Well, looking at the success, sources inform us that Swastik Productions is coming up with a new webseries based on the rise of Mahishmati, the kingdom ruled by Bahubali. Sources also inform us that the series will stream on Netflix.

Mahishmati is the center focus kingdom in the Baahubali franchise. It is the home of Rajmatha Sivagami, Bhallaladeva, Bijjaladeva, Amarendra Baahubali, Kattappa, and many other residents. It is a kingdom of great power and architecture surrounded by many natural biomes and other people, ruling over them. Mahishmati was ruled by king Somadeva, then by Bhallaladeva, and now by Mahendra Baahubali and Avanthika.
