Here's some good news for all film aficionados. Thespian Dilip Kumar was discharged from Lilavati Hospital at 1.30 pm today. The actor who was admitted to the hospital for health complications recovered well in time to go back home to celebrate his birthday. The actor looked hale and hearty as he exited Lilavati hospital accompanied by his wife Saira Banu who looked pleased as punch. The veteran actor even posed for the shutterbugs and smiled and acknowledged as chants of Happy Birthday filled the air outside the hospital. Other pateints, visitors, hospital staff and media all joined in to wish Dilip Kumar a happy 92nd birthday. Looking at the outpouring love for her husband, an overwhelmed Saira who lovingly caressed Dilip Kumar's hair and planted two warm kisses on her husband's cheek. And Dilip saab did blush a bit. The legend also waved to the crowd before being escorted into the waiting Mercedes that was ready to chauffeur him back home.
