MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and other celebrities appear in Jawan, which is not only doing well at the box office but also winning over the hearts of the audience. The total revenue for the Hindi version of Jawan is around Rs 430.44 crores. And Jawan has been a hit at the international box office.

Jawan has been the Indian film to earn Rs 858.68 crores (gross) the fastest. The director has voiced his desire to bring Jawan to the Oscars even though praise and admiration are flooding in from all directions for Shah Rukh, Atlee, Nayanthara, and the rest of the cast and crew.

The question of Atlee's opinion on expanding Indian cinema to a global audience was asked. He was questioned about entering his movie at the Oscars. If everything works out, Atlee thinks even Jawan will be eligible for an Oscar nomination. The filmmaker says that with every effort made, everyone in the industry, every director, every technician, etc. looks toward the Golden Globes, the Oscars, and the National Awards, and claims he would like to take Jawan to the Academy Awards.

Atlee wishes Shah Rukh Khan would read the interview he gave regarding his desire to bring Jawan to the prestigious Academy Awards. The director also said that he would discuss the matter with the star via a phone call.

Atlee said that he is not currently working on Jawan 2. He admits that each of his movies has an open ending. He acknowledges having intentions for Jawan 2, but not just now. Atlee is developing a variety of movies.

After Jawan was released a few days ago, Atlee went to the Gaiety Galaxy. The amount of support the director received left him speechless. Shah Rukh Khan was appreciated for the same. Shah Rukh was praised as the Mass's God. He also praised Anirudh Ravichander, the music director for Jawan, referring to him as the country's rockstar.

Vijay Sethupathi plays the antagonist in Jawan. A few of the adversaries include Sunil Grover and Eijaz Khan. Ridhi Dogra, Priyamani, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Sanya Malhotra, and other actors also appear in the movie. Jawan is rapidly approaching the Rs 1 billion mark globally.
