MUMBAI: Shahid Kapoor is now all set to be seen in the upcoming movie Jersey, which also has Mrunal Thakur. The movie which is a remake of the Telugu film with the same name and is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.

It is one of the much awaited movies of 2022, and today, the second trailer was released at a press conference held in Mumbai. It was attended by the cast of the movie. 

Team Jersey was seen answering questions about the clash between their movie and KGF Chapter 2. Talking about the clash, director Gowtam Tinnanuri said that a good film will always make its way to the audience, and they are confident about their movie Jersey. He does not see it as Jersey "versus" KGF but KGF "and" Jersey. The director adds that the pandemic has done a lot of damage, and people are waiting to see good content. They want every film that releases to be good.

On the other hand, Mrunal Thakur says that she has been watching movies back to back. In fact, she had seen Spider-Man and 83 on the same day. It is always a good thing to have a choice, and she is very excited about the movie Jersey, because after a long delay, her movie is being released in theatres.

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor says that no doubt KGF Chapter 2 is made on a huge scale, but a scaled film is not necessarily a good film. If KGF is a good film, it will definitely do well. Shahid also adds that he goes for the heart of the film and not its size.
