MUMBAI: Bollywood has given us several actresses whom we love and admire. They made a strong impression with their talent and won the hearts of the audiences all over the globe. 

However, unfortunately, some of them did not live long. Have a look at a few such stars whose deaths were devastating. 

Sri Dev

India's first female superstar Sri Devi breathed her last on the night of February 24th 2018, and till today, we find it really difficult to digest this sad news. Fans still raise questions about the sudden demise of the actress. She was found unconscious in her bathtub in Dubai, and her death is still a mystery.

Jiah Khan

Housefull 1 and Ghajini actress Jiah Khan was loved by the fans and was seeing a rising career graph when we suddenly heard about her demise. She was found dead at her apartment in Juhu in June 2013, and we do not know what exactly happened to her.

Divya Bharti

Another gem of Bollywood, Divya Bharti was 19 years old when she died after falling from the fifth floor of her Versova apartment. This news shook the Bollywood industry back then, as she was the most loved actress. Fans raise questions about her mysterious death even today. 

Parveen Babi

The beautiful Parveen Babi’s death shook the industry. It was said that the actress was suffering from paranoia and schizophrenia. She passed away in 2005, and her body was discovered after a few days, which raised many questions. She was found lying on the bed after the door of her terrace flat was broken open by a police team. Well, this untimely demise too raised many questions which are unanswered. 

Silk Smitha

It has been 24 years since South actress Silk Smitha (Vijayalakshmi Vadlapati) died. It was said that the actress committed suicide, but till date, no one knows why she took the extreme step. She was found dead at her Chennai apartment on September 23, 1996. Well this was a great shock for the industry. Later, a movie was made on the life of the actress, in which Vidya Balan played her. It was titled The Dirty Picture.

These actresses left us too soon, but we still remember them through their work.
