MUMBAI: The Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan celebrates his birthday today (2nd November). The star is known globally as a megastar and he is called by many nicknames. The star has completed a century in terms of number of films made, and is still going strong. Ek Tha Tiger

Aamir Khan's Lagaan was one of the most loved films that rocked the box office. Before the role was offered to Aamir, the role of Bhuvan was reportedly offered to Shah Rukh Khan. Other than Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan were also being considered for this role.

Slumdog Millionaire

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor was lauded for playing a key role in the film Slumdog Millionaire. According to reports, the role was initially offered to Shah Rukh Khan, who rejected the role because he felt that the host in the film was shown as mean and a cheat.

Jodha Akbar

According to reports, Ashutosh Gowariker wanted to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan after their Swadesh success, for Jodha Akbar. But SRK rejected the film and the role was later offered to Hrithik Roshan.

Munnabhai MBBS

The Bollywood classic Munnabhai MBBS, was reportedly presented to Shah Rukh Khan, but he rejected the film. Later, the makers gave the role to Sanjay Dutt.
