Now the film has gone on to win accolades in the recently held Bangalore Film Festival. Shivani has gone on to win not just one, but 5 awards in all leading categories. The 35 minute film that presents the tale of a tawaif, who runs away with her daughter to give her a respectful upbringing, but life’s drastic game ruins it, has won the Best Film, Best Director, Best Editor, Best Cameraman and the Excellent Movie awards. Talking about the achievement Shamim, who heads operations at SaReGaMa Productions shared, “It is a very honourable moment for us as we won the maximum awards at the prestigious event.
