Actor Amit Dolawat who plays Akshara's past in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will be seen in a challenging avatar in Zee TV's super hero series, Maharakshak Aaryan (Esselvision Productions).

Well, he will play a magician by name Jaanlewa Jaadugar who would charm the SonPari, played by Meghna Naidu. Our readers would remember our last story wherein we reported about Meghna Naidu playing the role of Swarnnakha. Amit's character will charm and win the Son Pari's heart after which she will want to stay as his 'ghulam'.

The jaadugar will then kidnap Aaryan's (Aakarshan Singh) brother in order to trap Aaryan. In the battle that will ensue, viewers will witness a lot of special effects with Aaryan finally winning it.

When contacted, Amit told us, "This was a very challenging role, with some tough sequences to perform. It also meant I had to take some time off from Yeh Rishta to shoot for this, as Aaryan required me to shoot at a stretch for 16 - 18 hours. And I felt it could take some time off from my sleep to take up this role."

Amit in addition to being seen in Director's Kut's long running show Yeh Rishta is also playing the lead in Doordarshan's Lakeerein Kismat Kii.
