Wondering why are we in a celebratory mood? Well as we have been informed that Mahabharat fame Lavanya Anand has got hitched.

The actor who played Sahdev in Mahabharat tied the knot on 5 February with Dede Frescilla, a lawyer from Indonesia.

Sharing details about their love story, a friend close to them shared, “The two met during a shoot of an Indonesian show and got attracted to each other. Though they enjoyed their phase as friends, recently they decided to take it to another level and get married.”

The marriage happened at Lavanya’s place with only close family and friends. The grand reception was followed the next day at a suite in a posh Delhi hotel.

When we called Lavanya to congratulate, the handsome hunk shared, “Dede is the perfect life partner that I could have wished for. Both of us share the same wavelength and deep understanding.”

The couple took off to Kashmir to spend their honeymoon.

Interestingly Lavanya’s twin brother on the show, Vin Rana (Nakul) will also tie the knot on 22 February (Read: Mahabharat hottie Vin Rana to tie the knot!). Seems like the two surely have a ‘twin effect’!

Lavanya also mentioned that he will soon be back in Mumbai to get back to TV.
