Samaira Rao judges "personality contest" at Jai Hind College

Samaira Rao
Samaira Rao, who essayed the role of Mansi in Sony Entertainment Television’s Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage, is back from her exciting trip to London. As she geared up to get back to work, she got invited to judge a personality contest at Jai Hind College in Mumbai yesterday. Along with noted designer Shruti Shetty, Samaira was given the task to choose the best talent in both boys and girls and crown them as the Mr. and Ms. of the college. Says Samaira, “I had never judged such a contest. Usually you see personalities like John Abraham, Shahid Kapoor and others judging such events. But when I got a call from them, I felt blessed. There were three rounds in the contest, the first being an introduction round, the second where the contestants were judges on the basis of their performances and lastly, an IQ test. I had great fun with the contestants. Overall, it was a good experience.” Samaira who is still adjusting to the hotter climate of Mumbai after enjoying her vacation in the chill ambience of London is also in talks with various production houses for her next role on TV. She avers, “Yes, I am waiting for the right role and till the time I finalize things I will not want to talk about it.” There is a buzz that Samaira has already bagged the lead role in Rashmi Sharma’s upcoming show on Zee TV. The Jai Hind College authorities presented Samaira with an honour award. “I enjoyed all the performances. The people there were all eager to see me soon on TV and wished me luck.” Nikhil Dwivedi the protagonist of the movie Hate Story was also present at the event as a guest. We wish Samaira all the best for her comeback on TV.
