Swayamwar has surprised a lot of people this time as well known prime time face Ratan Rajput has decided to marry on national television. A source says, “Initially the channel is looking forward to have 100 contestants for the show out of which 50 will be Indians and 50 NRI. Later, they will be brought down to 50 and then reduced to 21. These final 21 will participate then with one person being eliminated every week to arrive at the final five for the swayamvar. But, the channel is targeting Rajasthan as Ratan belongs there. The contestants will be a mix of common people who are doctors, engineers, businessmen, etc as well as aspiring actors and models. The groom hunting for Ratan starts from tomorrow. The show will go on air in February.” We tried getting through producers Fazila Allana and Kamna Menezes but they remained unavailable for comment.
