Zee TV's premier music programme, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has announced Rs.30 lakhs as prize money for the
winners of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs. The winner will get Rs.15 lakhs, the first runner up will get Rs.10
lakhs while the second runner up will get Rs.5 lakhs. This scholarship money will be deposited in an account that will be
accessible by the winners on attaining the age of 18 years.
Speaking about the prize, Punit Goenka, Business Head Zee TV says, "We are awarding this scholarship to the L'il
Champ winners to secure their future. We want to encourage them to pursue music wholeheartedly and if they
wish to pursue higher studies, they will be able to fund themselves."
L'il Champs has been appreciated from all quarters, the feather in the cap being a letter from former
Prime Minister Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee congratulating the show and participants. Talented youngsters from across
the country have participated in this programme that has given singers like Shreya Ghosal, Kunal Ganjawala & several
others to the industry.
