Creative Eye Ltd, a major player in the general entertainment field on television will now be coming up with a first-of-its-kind show for the to-be-launched channel, Sony Pal. Titled Singhasan Battisi, the show will be a mix of mythological, historical and fantasy-based genres, yet relatable to the modern times. At a time where everyone speaks about ‘women empowerment’, Creative Eye Ltd. comes with the very noble and wise thought that women are empowered from time immemorial, and they are no less than the male. This concept of Singhasan Battisi will in fact talk of how a woman will for a change empower the man with all the good virtues. As we know, Singhasan Battisi is based on the story of the throne of Raja Vikramaditya, which has the precious 32 statues of angels on it. Singhasan means ‘throne’ and Battisi is a word derived from the number ‘battis’, which is thirty-two. So this is the story of thirty-two statues of angels on the throne of King Vikramaditya. Raja Bhoj, the noble and able warrior will want to ascend the throne of King Vikramaditya, and every time he would try to climb the steps leading to the throne (there are 32 steps), one particular angel which would have a particular virtue would come before him, and throw a challenge at Raja Bhoj to prove that he is capable enough to ascend the throne by going through certain challenging tasks. As we know, news of the elegant Sayantani Ghosh playing the role of Mahamaya is out. Siddharth Arora has been roped in to essay the central character of Raja Bhoj. Now we have more exclusive details on two other gorgeous ladies to play important roles in the show. Aditi Sajwan who is presently seen in Star Plus’ Ek Hasina Thi and SAB TV’s Baalveer has been roped in to play one of the 32 statues who will come down to test the grit and capability of Raja Bhoj. As per sources, Aditi will play the angel who is known for her valour, and will be called ‘Paraakram’. Aditi has already completed her shoot, is what we get to hear. Also, Navina Bole who was recently seen in SAB TV’s Jeannie Aur Juju will play yet another statue, which will descend to put Raja Bhoj to test. When contacted, Aditi told Tellychakkar.com, “I think I am not yet entitled to talk about the show or my role. I will speak to you at the right time.” Navina Bole on her part said, “You are right, I play one of the angels who is known for one particular virtue. This is all I can say.” We tried calling Producer Dheeraj Kumar, but he remained unavailable. Dheeraj Kumar’s Creative Eye Ltd. has produced a lot of successful shows over the years.
