Dheeraj Kumar’s one-of-its-kind show for Sony Pal, Singhasan Battisi will be based on the story of the throne of Raja Vikramaditya, which has the precious 32 statues of angels on it. The story will be based on the quest of Raja Bhoj to ascend the throne of Raja Vikramaditya, and every time he would try to climb it, one particular angel would come before Raja Bhoj and narrate the tale of Vikramaditya and how he would perceive situations and fight it with all his virtues.

Donning the role of the mighty Raja Vikramaditya in Singhasan Battisi will be handsome hunk Karan Suchak. Karan who has just wrapped up his shoot for the Star Plus magnum opus show Mahabharat where he donned the role of Dhrishtadhyumna, has bagged yet another historical cum mythological show in Singhasan Battisi.

King Vikramaditya, as we know was a brave warrior, incomparable to anyone when it came to his valour and courage. And every time one of the 32 statues would come before Raja Bhoj, the statue would narrate the grit and valour of King Vikramaditya and raise a question whether Raja Bhoj can prove that he can equal Vikramaditya’s stature.

Incidentally for Karan, his character of Dhrishtadhyumna was killed in the war in Mahabharat in yesterday’s episode. And today comes the news of the actor getting back on screen in a new avatar, that of Raja Vikramaditya in Sony Pal’s Singhasan Battisi.

When contacted, Karan told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, I am playing the role of Vikramaditya in Singhasan Battisi. As soon as I finished my work for Mahabharat, I got this offer and I have been shooting for the show from the first week of August. I am now used to playing mythological/ historical characters; I have had a great learning curve donning the role of Dhrishtadhyumna in Mahabharat. I hope I am liked by viewers in this new avatar of mine.”

We wish Karan all the very best for the new avatar!!
