There are very few television actors who get to share screen space with Bollywood stars and Anuj Sachdeva, last seen as Amrit in Star Plus’ Sabki Laadli Bebo, is one of them. The actor has been appearing on the TV screens along with Bollywood leggy actress Anushka Sharma in a commercial. And Anuj is quite elated about this amazing experience. Not only this, he is all praises for Anushka. “She is an extremely interactive person to work with. Anushka is extremely focused on her work and jumps into the skin of her character easily. She is one gutsy and stunning lady,” says Anuj of his co-star in the advertisement.
In fact, Anuj shares something interesting that happened on the shoot of this TVC, with Tellychakkar.com. “It is a known fact that Anushka is very tall. And to tell you the truth she is taller than me. So while we were shooting for this commercial, she had to remove her heels to match my height. And I kept apologizing to her, for not being as tall as she is; as it was because of me she had to be without her heels,” smiles Anuj.
And Anushka is not the only star Anuj has worked with; in fact, he shared screen space with Deepika Padukone in a TVC sometime back. “It was fun to work with her as well. She is very down to earth,” adds Anuj. So, Anuj has two names to boast of. “It is not that I am doing so intentionally, but things are just happening that ways,” says Anuj to clear any confusion that he himself is taking up such assignments that feature Bollywood actresses.
