Actress Arpana Agrawal who has done shows like Left Right Left, Sajna Hai Muje Sajna Ke Liye on Shagun TV, Ek Ghar Banaunga, Aakhir Bahu Bhi toh Beti Hee Hai and Masakkali will now be seen essaying a predominant role in Doordarshan’s upcoming show Prakriti. The show, produced by Balraj Sahni Productions will air every Thursday and Friday at 8 PM starting 28 August.
The story will revolve around a girl who would want to become a forest officer in order to save nature. The lead cast of the show will have Sheetal Moulik and Girish Trivedi. Arpana will be seen essaying mother to the lead boy. The prime cast will also include Praikshit Sahni, Nimay Bali, Amit Behl, Atul Shrivastava, Dharmesh Vyas.
Arpana will play the character of Arpana Bajaj; Atul Shrivastava will play her husband. Her character will be of a rich lady who does not get along well with her husband. She would be living under the same roof with her husband in order to please society, and also because she would love her son very much.
When contacted, Arpana told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, I am presently shooting for the Doordarshan show, Prakriti. It is a very challenging character, especially because the lady lives a materialistic life. I am happy to be associated with Balraj Sahni Productions. Our Producer Parikshit Sahniji is a bundle of energy even at this age. I am inspired by his work and enthusiasm.”
