MUMBAI: Kasautii Zindagii Kii is one of the most loved shows on television. 

Starring Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan in the lead roles, it also features many prominent faces one of them being Karan Singh Grover in the iconic role of Mr. Bajaj. However, there is now a change of the cast as the actor has decided to quit the show and replacing him is Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actor Karan Patel. It was also reported that Ronit Roy, who originally played the role, was helping the team to pick the right face to play the character. 

Well, now that we know Karan has stepped into the role, let us talk about what we the audience expects out of him.

Komal Mehra, a housewife shares, "Given that Karan played a businessman in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, we know that he will play the part well. However, we did see a very emotional and sensitive side of him too. Mr. Bajaj is macho, sophisticated and doesn't not indulge in complex emotions. He knows exactly what he wants. We would love to see how Karan pulls this off!"

Kunj Pandit, a student said, "Kasautii Zindagii Kii is the only show I watch and that is because it was iconic back then. I loved the way Ronit Roy pulled off that character. Karan, breaking the image of Raman Bhalla would be an interesting watch. However, I feel it will be quite a challenge for him as Mr. Bajaj loves Prerna unconditionally and is always there for her but more as a support system. He does not force himself upon her. There is a fine balance of friendship, loyalty and love."

Krutika Thakkar mentioned, "I have loved watching Karan Patel on-screen and has a different charm to his personality. I hope he does not try to pull an SRK to portray the sophistication and elegance which Mr. Bajaj has."
