Earlier it was mere speculation but now Colors CEO Rajesh Kamath has reportedly stated to a tabloid that they indeed did approach Baba Ramdev for Bigg Boss 3 but the yoga guru turned down the offer.
“Yes, we were negotiating with Baba Ramdev. But it didn’t work out,” said Kamath to a tabloid.
Ramdev supposedly backed out because the discipline at Bigg Boss’ house (rather the lack of it) didn’t match with his regimen. There were no issues regarding money. However, it must also be recalled that Ramdev had once criticised the behaviour of Bigg Boss 2 contestants and came down heavily on the participating item girls.
Obviously, the yoga guru follows a strict discipline and it wouldn’t have been easy for him to maintain that in the Bigg Boss house.
“We were ready to let him get up at 3 am and do his yoga if he wanted. The only thing the participants can’t do is sleep beyond 8 am,” Kamath added.
Well, Baba Ramdev may not be an inmate but don’t rule out the possibility of him imparting yoga lessons to the inmates in an episode.
