Tales of lost brothers or sisters has always found favour with the Indian viewer. Cashing on to this is BR.Films who’ll soon be launching their serial on twin- sisters. Titled Pari Hoon Main the show will go on air in January 2008.
A source informs Pari Hoon Main is a tale of lost sisters Pari and Niki. Pari is a very flamboyant and lively girl. Niki, who’s brought up by her maternal uncle and aunt isn’t leading a happy life. While her uncle (Adi Irani) is caring, aunt (Upasna Singh) never misses an opportunity to ill- treat Niki.
Our source adds, “The real drama begins when Niki runs away form her home and her twin sister Pari happens to land at her house. This story does bear a strong resemblance to movies such as Chaalbaaz or Sita aur Gita. Debutant actor Divya plays the lead.”
