As the The Great Indian Laughter Challenge heads to it finale, Star One announced the launch of The Great Indian Laughter Champions yet another laughter filled show.
The contestants of The Great Indian Laughter Champions will be the finalists of the previous seasons of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge . So the audiences can expect the best of The Great Indian Laughter Champions including Dr. Tushar Shah, Amanullah Khan, Khayali, Naveen Saarthi, Jaswant Singh, Bharti Singh amongst others.
It will be launched on October 10 and air every Friday at 9 pm. This show will run only for six weeks. There will be no eliminations. Each episode will have five contestants performing different gags. They will be judged by the laughter King Sidhu and the effervescent Chunky Pandey. The show will also have Chunky Pandey doing a special act in each episode. The shoot started yesterday (September 26).
When asked about the shift from judging a dance reality show to judging a stand-up comedy Pandey says, "The biggest contrast is that, there I had Malaika Arora Khan sitting next to me and here I have Sidhu next to me. Isn't it really a contrast? It is great fun to be on this show. We don't have to judge or give points. We just have to laugh and make others laugh as there are no eliminations. The show is like a tribute, like an Oscar."
