Crime Patrol has now not only got an extension but also has a new name -- Crime Patrol Sansani. And starting tonight, it will air Mondays to Thursdays, from 10.30 to 11 pm.
With a new format, it would focus on high profile police cases like the Jessica Lal murder case, the Rizwanur honour killing, Nitish Katara case etc.
Confirming the news, Subbu, creative director, Optimystix says, “The show has got an extension because it has been doing really well. It is a continuing series with a new format, a newer version of Crime Patrol but not Season 3.”
On being asked about the change in time slot Subbu says, “The current time slot is more suitable for the new format because the earlier slot was more a family time slot; so a change was required.”
The show is expected to remain on air up till May; however there is no official confirmation on the same since the production house is yet to discuss these details with the channel.
The show would also star faces like Jay Bhanushali, Shweta Gulati, Zarina Wahab in important roles.
