MUMBAI: Kanwar Dhillon is one of the popular actors of the television industry and has a massive fan following.

He is ruling the television screens these days with his role as Shiva in Star Plus's most successful show Pandya Store.

His pair with Alice is loved by the audience and they consider them as one of the most loved and iconic pairs on television.

A few months back there was news doing the rounds that Kanwar would be part of Bigg Boss Season 17 and he was almost confirmed for the show but then he backed out and the reason is still unknown.

His fans were disappointed that they wouldn’t be able to see him in the reality show as he could be a good player for the show.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Kanwar and asked him what he had to say about not doing Bigg Boss and talks about Munawar playing the game well and how he is supporting Neil and Aishwarya in the game.

What do you have to tell those fans who wanted to see you in Bigg Boss but then at the last moment because you didn’t do the show they were disheartened?

The fact is that wherever I went there were so many articles that came out that I was going to do Bigg Boss that actually I felt I was doing the show. I was in such a position that until the last minute, I couldn’t commit to the show. But actually when I was sure I was not doing the show, I shared it on social media.

But post the launch, I am getting many messages as to why I am not a part of the show. There were a lot of reasons and sometimes you have better options. Somewhere, mentally I didn’t want to do Bigg Boss directly. But I will participate in future for sure. 

Do you have any friends in the Bigg Boss house?

Neil and Aiswarya are my friends. I have known Rinku Dhawan since she was my co –actor. But I hope Neil and Aishwarya buckle up a bit because I am supporting them. I hope they come out as winners.

What do you have to say about Munawar’s game in the show?

Munwar is doing a fantastic job as he has done the reality show Lock Upp before. He is comfortable in the format and is playing the game with his mind.

Well, there is no doubt that the fans would love to see the actor in the reality show as they want to see him in a new avatar.
