MUMBAI: It's been a while since Jay Soni made an exit from Star Plus'  popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Jay entered the show a few months ago and won everyone's heart with his amazing performance. 

He portrayed the role of Abhinav Sharma in the drama series where he was paired opposite Pranali Rathod aka Akshara. 

The ardent viewers are missing Jay's presence in the show ever since he exited the show.

While Jay has not announced any project yet after his exit from the show, Tellychakkar got in touch with Jay Soni where he revealed about his first crazy marriage proposal and lots of other ‘first times’ in his life. Check it out:

Tell us about the time when you had a professional fight with someone?

I never had it. I’m very clear about all that. This is me and this is what I do. People understand it now.

How was it the first time you bought something branded from your own hard-earned money?

I bought a sports bike, Hayabusa.

How was it the first time when you dated someone?

It was when I was in school. I am a romantic kind of person from the beginning.

How did you feel the first time when you faced the camera?

It was when I had shot for a commercial where I didn’t have any major role. I was playing a friend of the hero. I was in college and that was my first project so I enjoyed it. The payment was good.

How was it the first time when you had a hookup with someone?

There was no hookup ever. I always fell in love so there was no hookup.

Tell us about the time when you came across a fake profile of your name?

I don’t remember exactly but yes I saw it once and I was thinking “Oh such things happen?!”. I didn’t know there were fake profiles from my name too. It was a good thing. I wasn’t feeling anything bad about it.

How was it attending the red carpet for the first time?

I attended the Star Parivaar Awards for the first time. It was when Sasural Genda Phool was released just before the award show. I was just thinking to myself “Oh My God! Where am I?What's happening?” The show was doing quite well so everyone was calling me. It felt like how it happens in movies when you see all the cameras flashing. I was wearing a black color Tuxedo. I remember I had called my mom and told her how everything was feeling and that things are just how we have seen in movies. The emotions were so hard to control at that time that my throat choked. I was speechless and on top of it, I also had a performance.

How was it the first you kissed someone?

I don’t remember or maybe I don’t want to share.

How was it on your first trip abroad?

I went to Dubai for the first time with my mom. My first work trip was to Malaysia. It was a middle-class family situation because my whole family had come to drop me to the airport. Even my mom was very happy that I was having such an experience. Since it was my first time, my whole family was there to see me off and I think it was a very cute thing.

Tell us about the first time you either received or wrote a love letter from or for someone?

I don’t remember the first time but yes things have happened earlier. I have never written a letter like that to someone.

Have you ever received a marriage proposal from a fan? If yes, then tell us how was it?

I was once asked in a very weird way and I didn’t know how to react. I remember my mom telling me that I should now get married and I agreed to it saying that yes I will, soon. From somewhere, this news got out and then there was this girl who asked me to get married. I told her I’m not ready for it but she was like “But your mom said that you should do it”. So I had a conversation with my mom later. It was an arranged situation and my number was given to them. My mom revealed that she is searching for a girl and I let her search. She even found a few girls, I had to go and meet them because I had to respect my mom. When I went to meet a girl, she was in such awe. I had no idea what to say and how to behave. My mom was there with me too. I was there for hardly 10 minutes and then I just left because I didn’t know how to talk to them. They asked why I refused and I had to tell them that there’s nothing with the girl but I’m not ready for it.
