Soon joining the bandwagon of sequels on TV is Sachin Pilgaonkar's Tu Tu Main Main. But this time around the second season will be aired on Star One and the tracks will include Sachin-Supriya's two sons, be played by Ali Asgar (Kamal of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki fame) and Swapnil Joshi (Krishna of Mahabharata fame). "Tu Tu Main Main is one comedy show which has gelled very well with the audience in the past. Sachin has his own standard of making such shows. I would do anything for Sachin as working with him is like a paid vacation. Besides, I love doing comedies. Swapnil and myself play Supriya's sons.," chirps Ali who has earlier worked with Sachin in Star Plus' Rin Ek Do Teen and SAB's Pratishodh. There's more good news for Ali, his wife is expecting their second child soon this month. "We want a healthy child and have no such preferences as such. But my mother wants a baby girl," smiles the actor who has a two and a half year old son. When contacted the producer and director of the show, Sachin Pilgaonkar says, "It's too early to talk about the show. Give me some more time and I will get back to you with more information." The rest of the cast, namely Reema Lagoo, Supriya Pilgaonkar and Mahesh Thakur have been retained. The actors will begin shooting in October and this weekly, targeted for a primetime slot, is expected to be launched by the end of next month. Will the sequel of Tu Tu...manage to tickle our funny bone the same way as it's original version? We hope it does!
