Birthdays are always special and what adds more fun are ‘surprises’!

TV heartthrob Shantanu Maheshwari who will be seen in MTV Girls On Top that is launching today (7 March) is celebrating his birthday also on this day.

The pretty ladies of the show, Barkha Singh, Ayesha Adlakha and Saloni Chopra visited the Tellychakkar.com as Guest Editors and decided to play a prank on birthday boy Shantanu.

Calling him up, the girls pretended to be his fans and wished him a great birthday. Shantanu was at a loss of words but accepted the wishes whole heartedly.

But their giggling gave it away and Shantanu laughed his heart out at their joke.

Tellychakkar.com then grilled him over his birthday plans, to which he replied, “My parents surprised me by visiting me in Mumbai. It was really a heart warming gesture and I am super excited to be with them. Will be celebrating with friends also in the evening.”

When the ‘girls’ went on to ask him what is his ideal birthday, Shantanu smilingly added, “I don’t understand what can be categorised as an ideal birthday. I think it is up to us how we make it special.”
