Recently, the actress had to shoot for an action sequence on her above popular daily soap on Colors. But due to the risk involved, makers called for her body double to perform the stunt.
And guess what? It was a male action master who dressed up like 'Aaliya' (Rao's character on the show) to perform the sequence. Hilarious, eh?
Preetika, who could not stop laughing while narrating the scene, said, "Morning before heading to shoot, Harshad (Arora) sent me a picture with a text ‘Your duplicate can’t be better than this.’ After seeing the photo, I could not control my laughter. After reaching on the sets, I learnt that they had called for my body double to perform an action sequence.”
She continued, “The funniest part was that he was made to dress up like my character to perform the sequence. Although I missed watching that particular episode, that moment was hilarious. But I really appreciate his work and I think he was fantastic.”
