MUMBAI: Cycling is a hobby for many people. However, it is one of the most versatile activities that can become a daily habit. It helps maintain good health and reduces pollution.

Iqbal Khan has been cycling around the city for the past three years. On National Pollution Control Day yesterday, the actor spoke to a media portal about his eco-friendly endeavour.

“I take my electric cycle to travel anywhere within a 5-km radius. I do not use the car. Most of my commute is within this radius itself. It’s a non-polluting vehicle, so I am giving back to mother earth in my own way. Many people use it just as a form of exercise, but for me, that is not the case. On a practical note, it also saves me from the traffic on several occasions. I always ensure that I use the proper gear and follow all safety measures," he said.

Iqbal encourages people to protect the environment by choosing bicycles over other vehicles. We couldn't agree more.
