Come February, Star One's highly publicized show, Antakshari - The Great Challenge goes on air. And co-anchoring this musical along with veteran host Annu Kapoor is Kkumkum famed Juhi Parmar, for whom this will be a novel experience.

When asked about this new avatar, an elated Juhi says, "I am taking up something different from what I've been doing till now. At the moment I'm totally preparing for it. The production house has set in place a training course and I am being coached under Pandit Satyanarayan Murthy to understand the finer nuances of music."

And what about the expectations, does it weight her down, given the fact that she has been paired with Annu Kapoor who is an experienced hand in the show and also that Antakshari has always spelt success. Juhi is quick to add, "Expectations never bother me. I believe in doing my best and accepting the outcome. It will be my strategy for this show too. Annuji has been extremely cooperative and has helped me benefit from his vast experience about the show"

Talk about being nervous hosting a musical show for the first time, the actor says, "I have always encouraged nervousness. In fact I make it a point to be nervous because it propels you to give a better performance every time. Yes, I am nervous about the show and the response to my performance, but that's perfectly fine with me. I prefer to be nervous than overconfident."

Of late Juhi has been in news on her personal front too - her on-n-off relation with the maverick Anuj Saxena. So, when we pop a question about the buzz of her recent fall out, with her man, the actor adopts a polite tone to add, "I guess we will talk about it some other time." Well, the least we can say is: we will be waiting for that time to come.

After capturing attention of audiences as Kumkum, the actor has chosen to tread a more difficult path this time. Or should we say a tight rope walk with one end tied to fiction and the other to anchor a musical game show. Its only days to go when we can witness her balancing act and comment on her new avatar. Till then we have the company of the oft-repeated, cliché words; wait and watch.
