Television is no longer about being just an idiot box. Thanks to Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate, small screen is slowly and steadily emerging as a powerful space to deal and talk about social issues. And even in fiction sphere, shows like Parvarrish (Sony Entertainment Television) are setting up an example in terms of spreading the philanthropic word around. The serial deals with the issue of parenting and its female leads, Shweta Tiwari and Rupali Ganguly, have been wowing the audiences with their impressive portrayals. Now, the makers (DJ’s A Creative Unit) have decided to bring in a new face in order to further spice up the plot. The name is Karan Singh who was last seen in Star Plus’ Maryada Lekin Kab Tak. Karan will initially be seen in a baddie avatar called Firdose Hisabi. He will be vicious and be the bhai (don) in his area. On the hand, Ahuja and Ahluwalia kids will make random prank calls to people and one such call will reach Firdose bhai, which will lead to lot of drama. “Yes, I am essaying this baddie in the show who always asks for his share in every crime that takes place in his area. The story will further unfold and will have lot of twists and turns,” said Karan to Tellychakkar.com. Karan has already started shooting. And here’s an inside scoop. Firdose will actually be a cop who will be working to teach mischievous kids a lesson who call up random persons for the sake of fun. Well…seems quite interesting!!!
