The latest buzz is that Richa Bhadra who was last seen in Khichdi as a child artist (she played Hansa’s daughter), now comes back with Sab TV’s upcoming show Mrs Tendulkar. But this time, she is all grown up and will play a teen romancing a boy called Prasad Pagare (essayed by Vikas Patil).

There was a buzz that Richa is also part of Hats Off’s untitled new show for Zee TV.

A source confirms the news and says, “She is in Class 12 so she opted only for one show and that’s Mrs Tendulkar. She plays Mayuri in the show. She lives in the same colony with her bhai-bhabhi. Her family is the only Gujarati family in the show, rest all are mostly Maharashtrian families. Amita Choksi (seen in shows like Ek Mahal Ho Sapnon Ka and Ek Packet Umeed) plays her bhabhi. Sameer Shah an actor from Gujarati theatre plays her bhai.”

Adds the source, “Prasad and Mayuri are madly in love with each other. They will always be seen romancing in most of the scenes, as they portray a kiddish- couple. Prasad’s idea is to run away with Mayuri. But she always comes up with some silly excuses, to avoid it. Prasad is a Maharashtrian.”

TellyChakkar had earlier reported about Smita Sarwade and Bharat Ganeshpure (Marathi theatre artists) playing Kamal ‘tai’ Pagare and Ramdas Pagare, the boy’s parents in the show. “Kishori Godbole, who’s Mrs. Tendulkar works in a bank along with Ramdas Pagare in the show,” says the source.

Deven Bhojani in the title role of Mrs Tendulkar, will be seen playing a very interesting role of a house-husband, doing all the daily chores. “He is patient and happy with every little thing he does in the house. He has a habit of forgetting things. Besides this, he is also a writer in this show." says the source.

Despite continuous efforts, we could not reach Richa and Vikas.
